Introduction: Apart from physical effects, coronary heart disease has had some negative psychological effects such as vague worries and anxieties for all people, whether they are infected or not. The present study investigated these psychological effects, called coronary anxiety, among addicts in addiction treatment camps in Yasuj.
Methods: The method used in this study is quantitative and the survey technique and questionnaire tools have been used to collect data. The statistical population of this study is the people present in the addiction treatment camps in Yasuj city. According to the Lin table with an error of 5%, 144 of them were selected as a sample by simple random sampling and studied. The data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software, and independent t-test and Pearson correlation were used to test the hypotheses.
Results: In general, the average anxiety of Corona among addicts present in drug addiction camps in Yasuj city was high (mean: 30.25, standard deviation: 8.06) and the effect variables of the group, density of camps, number of years of drug use, duration The time of being in the camp and the health condition of the camp had an effect on the level of corona anxiety of these people.
Conclusion: Addicted people as a group of society who need help, especially in the city of Yasuj, which is one of the deprived cities of the country, should be given more attention and social support, and in this COVID-19 situation, help them to reduce their anxiety. In the case of coronary heart disease, they should be able to successfully go through the process of quitting their addiction and return to their normal lives.
