  Abstract

 

Introduction: The object of this article is to survey the role of knowledge companies in developing innovative projects in open systems for promotion of public benefits. This article introduces dimensions of knowledge companies with regard to the impact of implementing innovative projects in world’s competitive scientific and commercial fields.

Methods: This is a descriptive study that surveys the role of implementing knowledge companies along with their characteristics and relationship with mother universities. It also describes open innovation system and provides the model of knowledge companies along with identifying fields of investment on knowledge companies in health care sciences.

Results: K nowledge companies would be a good sample of an institute as a catalyst for interaction among knowledge based domains and to transfer technology.

Conclusion: T he university should play its role as the key element in the establishment of multipolar knowledge companies to run innovative projects . In addition, knowledge companies should be considered as the organizing or catalyzing agent to transfer new ideas and skills among the related areas.
