Abstract
Introduction: Today, the new information and communication technologies aim at improving the quality and increasing the access to health care services, reducing the costs, and ease of access to the experiences of experts. The current study aimed at assessing the E-readiness of Oil Industry Health Care Organization in order to enter E-health
Methods: The data were collected through a self-designed questionnaire based on theoretical framework. The study population included the health professionals in the 20’s the oil industry, including physicians, nurses, informatics specialists and managers related to the research subject. After editing, 114 questionnaires were collected. The validity of the model was confirmed by factor analysis and LISREL softwarewas usedto ensure the reliability of Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (9 /.).
Conclusion: One of the reasons for the approval of the majority of the research hypothesis can be the emphasis of the top management in the targeted organization regarding the use of ICT for planning and providing health services to clients and protocols that the organization noted to induce E-health.
